GoGirls ICT

GoGirls ICT Initiative was founded in 2015 by young women scientists and technologists in Juba, South Sudan. Their mission: spark girls' interest in STEM before the world tells them not to bother. Mentorship programs now run from primary school through a national partnership with South Sudan's telecom regulator, scaling from Juba's classrooms into 10 more states. Early participants who joined as eleven-year-olds have already finished secondary school — carrying that same curiosity into science and technology paths of their own.
